  1. Hi all I have a 1997 cabriolet (993). Recently the right hand motor seized (I think) and the resulting torque on the roof snapped the frame and tore the top badly. I need a replacement, and was thinking of doing it myself. Anyone have sources for replacements? Pelican parts seems to have the top canvas, but not the frames. I have seen LA Porsche Salvage yard, are they legit? Any help, advice or consolation is appreciated. BTW I live in the SF Bay Area, so any local sources around San Jose would be great. thanks Rich
