Hi My newly purchased '99 911 Carrera Cabriolet tends to sound its alarm randomly; is this an electrical malfunction or possibly caused by a parking tag that hangs from my mirror or something else that is triggering it? Is there a way of disabling it until I get it checked out? I don't have a manual for it yet. Thanks.

I just got the 99 911 Cab and am not familiar with some of its nuances (doesn't help that I didn't get an owner's manual). Upon remote locking, the taillights flash twice which is just like the Boxster I'm familiar with. But many times it also lets out a single horn beep. What's it trying to tell me? Thanks (and to all with advice about the window polish, earlier)
