  1. It is totally normal. The same valve is used in VWs and Audis. It is interesting that you actually hear the solenoid working. There is usually too many other noices coming from the engine compartment to make it heard. with 108k miles I dont have enough compression to make any other noises LOL J/K So the solution is louder exhaust, GOT IT !
  2. agree with the purpose, but the non-stop clicking is driving me nuts...I dont know if its normal or I have something causing this to over compensate for some other problem
  3. So this is a picture of the part, item no 996 110 129 52 (VENT) It comes from passenger side of throttle body, over the throttle body and along the drivers side intake. There is an electrical connection and this little bugger clicks constantly... Anyone know if it is an idication of something not working right or what causes this? I imagine that it is supposed to actuate, but seems to be over reacting?
  4. Has to be removing the amber from the headlights... Its FREE, and looks awesome....
  5. I did a closer look and now pretty sure that it needs an allen wrench though my metric allen wrench is either too big or too small. Is there a chance that my drain and fill plug is using English not Metric? Thank you! My guess is that there is dirt in the socket so the 10mm allen wont go in the hole. Try and use a very small screw driver and clean the hole out.. be careful none of the dirt gets in your eyes.. that sucks! the allen wrench should go really deep into the plug also, just so you know....
  6. When taking off the drain plug, has anyone ever heard a sucking sound like the tranny was under vacuum? Is there a vent somewhere that might be plugged.... seemed wierd to me. Ideas? OH... good thread on the oils to use. I will print it out and take it with to the store... Thanks
  7. 1st post on this forum, please dont yell if I mess it up :D I have a front blinker bulb socket on 99 C2 with halogen headlights that is needing replaced. Here is a picture where it goes... It holds the blinker bulb and twists into the headlamp assy.. (sorry no pic of actual part) Any help on where to find this part w/o entire headlamp assy change would be great!! Thanks
