  1. I have a CDC-4 6 disc changer out of an '03 or '04 Boxster. I also have the mounting bracket specific to the Boxster. Turns out it has a different part number than the one I need for my '05 CS. Email or PM if you're interested. I have tested it and it does work properly, just not with my CS. Andre
  2. mbnw, What City/State are you located in? Thanks, Andre
  3. Check out this thread on rennlist.com: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...ad.php?t=171401 There's a guy on that forum who is selling some kind of homelink retrofit kit for Cayenne's not equipped from the factory. Andre
  4. My '05 CS is pre-wired. Just need access to the OEM mounting bracket. I was able to angle the CD changer in sideways and connect the two plugs (power/control and optical). The CD changer was "recognized" by the head unit. BTW, I have Nav and Bose in my CS. How were you able to mount your CD changer and plug it in without removing the side panel?
  5. George, Haven't really experienced that problem. But then again, I wasn't really looking for it either. Next time I drive the CS (wife's car), I'll try it out and let you know what I find. Andre
  6. Doe anyone here have access to the Cayenne Technical Manual (9PA) 4/6/7/9 > repairs, 70 03 19 Removing and installing rear luggage compartment side panel lining? I'm trying to gain access to the OEM CD changer bracket in order to mount my CDC4 CD changer. If anyone can provide me with this section of the Cayenne Technical Manual or refer me to someone who has access to it, I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.
  7. George, We took delivery of our '05 CS the first week of October. It was at the dealer just last week for all of the recall campaigns (Porsche of Oakland). The transmission is now much more responsive. Hopefully this will cure your CS as well. Andre
  8. Loren, Any chance I could obtain a copy of the 15 page TSB for installing the CDC4 on a Cayenne? I just need to know how to access the OEM CD changer mounting bracket i.e. how to remove the rear passenger side cargo area panel. Thanks, Andre
