  1. Wow !!!! A lot of toys ! Beautiful garage and a lift !!!!! You are full equipt.... We got a snow storm this morning in Montreal. Forecast, over 10 inches of snow. I realized you got chain on your tractor. Are you under the same storm?

    We ended up with an inch of ice. Still have power and now just above freezing so I just scraped it off an I caught it before it gets cold later....

  2. Sorry, i meant the servo pump instead of airco.

    Actually for the clutch slave, it is a steel circlip that holds the brass male barb with a concave groove. The servo has a convex bulge and the plastic release collars for the return lines.

    The slave hose is different for sure, and it looks like you just pull it hard apart and replace the circlip if needed. Just don't want to go medieval on it until I know the facts for sure.

  3. Porsche use a special tool to work on it, do you need the connector to reuse?

    Yes. The new hydro fllex hose is longer. I'd like to see the special tool or procedure as it is a barb/circlip attachement and the fit is very tight, so I can't see any type of shim separation device installed. What I think the special tool is a wedge separator and you replace the internal circlip?

  4. Well, I took off the bumper today to replace a chipped grill piece, and while at it, I decided to check and clean the radiators. I've already vacuumed out the rad using the wrapping paper tube attached to the shop vac, and thought it did a good job. Once I had the grill and covers off, I couldn't believe how much crap was still in there. Mine is an 03 with 19,000.... and is now about a 1/2 pound lighter.

    I toook a pic of the right after I had already done the left, which was worse.

    I did separate the condensors from the water rads to get the debris out of the middle of them. They were packed.

  5. I'm about to remove the front bumper cover on my 03 996TT to clean the radiators, and replace the left grill that got chipped by a rock.

    I've searched the site and seen pics, but I cant seem to determine if the air temp sensor gets pushed back rearward to disconnect from the grill, or if there is another clip to disconnect it once the bumper is "hanging" loose.

    Any advice or pics are cheerfully accepted.
