  1. Low speeds come on with ac. If ac off, lows don’t come on at all, but high speed does at 103c Installing center rad now and determined to test continuity from dme to relay
  2. Thank you! Both fans kick on low with AC without AC, goes to 103c before high comes on. Im not hoping it’s DME at all. I think I just need some guidance to check continuity between DME and low speed relays, and I’d love any and all advice. Just replaced the Water temp sensor. No change.
  3. 01C4cab Radiator fan stage 2 (high speed) comes on at 103c. Low speed comes on only if A/C button pushed. DME bug or bad DME signal to low speed relay ?
  4. Throwout assembly is different. You'll have to pull out the pin under the bellhousing air tubes to get the throwout fork off the bearing. Removal is easy. Reinstall is tough. Also, you have to pull the starter stud on the turbo to get the tranny out.
  5. We ended up with an inch of ice. Still have power and now just above freezing so I just scraped it off an I caught it before it gets cold later....
  6. No, waiting for a replacement fitting for my Motive Bleeder before I shred it. Just doing my homework... Car is just on my lift waiting....
  7. Love to have a pic looking into this coupler to see if the circllip is accesable. http://www.renntech.org/forums/uploads/mon...91433_thumb.png Thanks wross. I'm still with questions, but I appreciate your posting of those pics very much.
  8. Thanks much but we're missing something.... step 8 is talking about the accumulator and using the strap wrench on that. What does #9 and 10 say? Thanks again. -jb
  9. new hose.... Loren... is it just a pull to overcome the circlip? Can't believe I'm the first...
  10. Actually for the clutch slave, it is a steel circlip that holds the brass male barb with a concave groove. The servo has a convex bulge and the plastic release collars for the return lines. The slave hose is different for sure, and it looks like you just pull it hard apart and replace the circlip if needed. Just don't want to go medieval on it until I know the facts for sure.
  11. Yes. The new hydro fllex hose is longer. I'd like to see the special tool or procedure as it is a barb/circlip attachement and the fit is very tight, so I can't see any type of shim separation device installed. What I think the special tool is a wedge separator and you replace the internal circlip?
  12. Unlike fuel, oil return, and a/c connections, there is no spot whatsoever for tool or key insertions in this fitting. Where do you install a separation tool?
  13. Changing over to the EVOMS accumulator delete, and I need to change the clutch slave hose. It disconnects here... Does it just pull out? By the looks of the replacement, you just give it a tug. Correct?
  14. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/996-tur...tions-help.html post 12.... has links. -jb
