  1. Intake manifolds, or exhaust manifolds? And were those "maintenance" items, or upgrades? Why does the DME need to be reprogrammed?
  2. I re-worded my question, since my original question may have made some incorrect assumptions about the "key" button's function. Anyone care to educate the poor, defenseless newbie?
  3. My owner's manual does not have instructions for the "key" button on the power driver's seat. Can someone educate me on what the "key" button does, and the steps to program it? The "Power Seats" section of my instruction manual shows only a picture of a power seat with (M 1 2 3) buttons on the driver's side. My seat has (M [key] 1 2) buttons on the driver's side. I've had no problems setting the "1" or "2" seat settings, and the key fob does unlock the car. The car is a 2002 Boxster S. Thanks for any assistance.
  4. They're the 17" Sport Classics. Just wondering who made them for Porsche. I haven't had them off of the car yet to see if there are any markings on the inside of the rim.
  5. These are the wheels that came on my new (to me) 2002 Boxster S. Anybody know who makes them, or have any other info about them (weight, etc.)? Just curious.
  6. Hmmm... The visors themselves look identical. I wonder if the inboard retaining clips from a 996 cab could be swapped in?
  7. Hmmm... Never had that problem on my, ahem, "other" convertible. But thanks for the reply. That answers my question at least. :)
  8. I'm sure this is a dumb question, but do the sun visors on a 986 rotate to the side, or do they only flip up and down? I just picked up a 2002 Speed Yellow Boxster S on Saturday and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to turn the sun visor to the side. (In case you're wondering, this is one of those cases in which the OP would PREFER to be told "You fool! Of course they rotate! All you have to do is _______!" rather than just being told "Yep, you're screwed, the visors don't rotate.") TIA for any assistance.
