  1. HI . First of all I would like to thank those who responded a few weeks ago. This car would start and run perfect most of the time . Recently it left me stranded a few times .It cranks but would not start. Came back an hour or two later starts right up. Originally thought this to be a fuel problem. Mainly fuel pump relay or fuel pump as when it would not start i could not here the fuel pump run. Turns out that the crankshaft positioning sensor was weak and therefore no spark was generated and also shuts down the fuel pump so a flooding issue does not ocur. Replaced the the sensor and all is well now. Thanks' Dan
