  1. Just got the 2003 Cayenne TT back from the dealer after a scheduled service, and main battery change. I have just discovered that there is no locking control from any of the little locking buttons on the external door handles. Pressing them does nothing. All other radio remote locking and unlocking works fine, only the door handle buttons have nil effect. Can this system be reset from my end or do we need PIWIS?
  2. 2003 Cayenne Turbo. I have an issue with the interior light control slide switch located adjacent the rear vision mirror. The switch seems intermittant in all its positions and does not work in the extreme right 'automatic' position. Anyone able to advise on how to remove the roof console in order to access the switch mechanism? Thanks.
  3. Can anyone advise me on where the "Control Unit Comfort Systems Rear" is physically located on a 2003 Cayenne Turbo? I need to access it to troubleshoot a suspect wiring fault. :thankyou:
  4. Thanks for the instruction, I disconnected the plug, but it still show the warning sign on the dash, after went over a bump. Any ideas ? thanks again Hi, did you insulate the plug? Does the glass open when the light comes on? No, I just unpluged them and yes, the light came on. Any input please ? thanks A good dealer would check it for you anyway. Sounds like you have a lazy dealer... From the TSB: "The affected Vehicle Identification Numbers are contained in the following VIN Ranges: Model Year 2003 & 2004, US and Canadian Vehicles WP1AB29P53LA60240 to WP1AB29P03LA60890 (M.Y. 2003) Cayenne S WP1AB29P44LA60005 to WP1AB29P54LA71031 (M.Y. 2004) Cayenne S WP1AC29P54LA90028 to WP1AC29P44LA92126 (M.Y. 2004) Cayenne Turbo" No, My vin is not in the range. I don't understand why it still got triggered even though the switch is disconnected. I changed the switch and it is still like that ! any advise ? thanks If the window is still popping open after you have changed the switch, it sounds like there is a short on the wiring loom that the switch connects to. The wiring insulation could be chaffed, and must be contacting the chassis providing an electrical ground everytime you hit a bump, or if the mechanism is looking for power from the switch, you could have 2 wires in the loom shorting to one another everytime you do the 'bump' thing. Inspection of the wiring loom will be required to confirm integrity.
  5. Newbie to this forum and am glad I have found you guys. I am researching a Cayenne Turbo, Australian market, RHD. Built date April 2003. The vehicle has the following option codes listed that I cannot seem to find on this sites database. Any idea anyone? IE0A IHD9 IQG0 IT90 Accessories for engine PR. No. D9L (what are the accessories?) IB0R Component set for Australia (what does the component set consist of?) IX7F Thanks again and congratulations on a great site. :renntech:
