  1. Hey all, Just recently purchased a 2006 C4. When I bought it the horns didn't work (hi and lo tones). Checked fuses and all that and removed the front bumper. Noticed the horns had been replaced with some after market Hella ones. Power is getting to the horns when the button is pressed. Replaced the horns with Porsche ones and got the pigtails to put the wiring back to factory. Several days later NO HORNS AGAIN. Same thing, they are blown out again. Horns are not going off while driving. I am familiar with the airbag spring deal. That happened to my older 996 before. Has anyone run into this? Never heard the horns going off in my garage or anything overnight. Has anyone run into this before? I can probably warranty out the horns, but I am afraid if I install them back in again it will happen again.
