  1. Hi Paul, thanks for your suggestion I know but this does not work, obviously there is another problem.

Hi folks, i think iam in real trouble here, i live in Jamaica and owns a 97my 986, bought it for my wife, she hardly drives the car, now i cannot get the gear lever out of park and will not start. changed the tiptronic transmission a few months ago but the transmission never shifted like before.I ordered the Durametric tool this week but i know that i still need help. Unfortunately the Porsche dealer in Jamaica is almost defunct, they do not even own a scan tool so i know i'am in deep trouble , i need all the help and suggestions that i can get, i really love this car.
