Thnx for both replies I'll stop my search for the mystery button Late reply from Becker's service brings an easy solution. Pressing and holding the 1 and 0 pre set button button for 8 seconds brings up the menu Selecting and scrolling is done with the Search (RH) control Regions can be selected I changed it and radio works fine now

Becker radio's in various BMW's and Mercedes's models could be changed without using any equipment, I could find out on the web. By pressing/holding a sequence of buttons the radio's service mode could be called up. I was hoping to find similar info for the CDR23. If I can't find it, I'll take your advice and look for someone with a tester that you refer to.

After a 4 year stay in the US, I've recently moved back to the Netherlands. The '03 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 (996) that I bought during my stay in the US, made it across as well. The FM radio reception of the Becker CDR23 audio system is not very good over here, due to the fact that the radio is set to receive US FM frequencies, as e.g. 98.1 - 98.3 - 98.5 - etc. MHz, while here in Europe all increments of 0.1 MHz are in use (98.1 - 98.2 - 98.3 etc. MHz) I've been able to find out, that most Becker radio's have a hidden menu that can be called up, in which regional settings can be changed. For the CDR23 I haven't been able to find that info. Can anyone help me with this?
