  1. Finland was the country of origin of my Boxster. I thought this might be interesting to keep track of as I've heard the Boxster made in Finland were / are higher quality than those made in Germany. Has anyone heard of the Finland vs. Germany quality difference?
  2. Bought my 99 Tiptronic with 84k miles in August of 07. Used it as daily driver (sales) and it has 128k. The tranny slips between 2nd and 3rd, but has done that for over a year. No major repairs, only the minor DIY ones below with estimated costs: O2 sensor: (this failed from coolant due to cracked coolant tank) $120 Coolant tank: $500 Oil changes & filters: $220 Brake Pads (rear two times, front once): $260 Valve for coolant going to transmission: $100 Ignition switch: $30 Rear trunk strut (old ones weak and I figured replacing one of them was good enough): $20 Spark plugs: $50 Fuel Filter: $30 Air Filter: $18 Misc Bulbs: $40 Waxes, Washes, etc: $200 Tires & Alignment: (bought N rated, but definitely going with Sumitumos for $90 each next time): $1200
