OK, I got it (#12) moves, but the top does not move. link 1 link 2 link 3 for your reading enjoyment. thank you...that was all very informative one quick question i have no experience with car parts.....will it be hard for me to go through with the things in those posts?

but the cover moves up...its just that the canvas top doesnt want to come out

hi, my aunts 1999 porsche carrera has a problem as it says in the subject...the convertible top is stuck down....when she tried to bring it up, the cover goes up, but not the actual top. we already checked the fuses and that doesnt do anything there is no clicking of any sort any help would be greatly appreciated! i was told to post here and talk to loren by porschedoc from germanautoforums.com but idk how to do that as im brand new to this forum
