    What the heck do you mean "the cover"?.....I think refers to the "convertable top compartment lid", item "D" in the right hand figure on page 144 in the MY03 Carrera Owner's Manual. If the Carrera Cabriolet is like the Boxster, that "cover" won't move if the parking brake isn't applied. Beyond that knowledge, I depend on Maurice for convertable top information.

  2. hi,

    my aunts 1999 porsche carrera has a problem

    as it says in the subject...the convertible top is stuck down....when she tried to bring it up, the cover goes up, but not the actual top.

    we already checked the fuses and that doesnt do anything

    there is no clicking of any sort

    any help would be greatly appreciated!

    i was told to post here and talk to loren by porschedoc from germanautoforums.com

    but idk how to do that as im brand new to this forum
