  1. Just throwing my experience in, i recently had my car out on a windy coastal road, and my PSM activated at least three times, felt in the brake pedal? No light flashed in my dash, as i thought it would. Every time it activated, i was headed into sharp turns, in which i was going to fast...
  2. My wife and i agree on this one, away from anyone else, no where near any other car if at possible. As for Valet, a good tip prior to the parking and standing and WATCHING him drive it to its spot is the best. You would be suprised how well they drive when you watch and TIP prior to leaving. But this is the best ive gotten so far!
  3. 1999Porsche911, what sizes do you run? Any more info you can give me on those tires?
  4. Paul, Thank you for the note! That helps alot! I was thinking the Cont. contact sport 2 after seeing them mounted on a 9ff car in the magazine porsche excellence. Now with your note, i will check into those as well. What sizes did you choose for your car?
  5. Wet weather handling is not a concern now. I dont drive it in the winter (or do my best!) so its mostly 99% dry weather tires....
  6. I would like to upgrade my interior to the wood grain kit. The dealer costs are bit high (to say the least) Anyone know of any other location to get them?
  7. Question: I have a 1999 C4, and am looking to put new tires on it. I would like to put on an aggressive handling tire, regardless of how long it lasts. I only put about 9K miles a year on my car so tire wear isn't to much of an issue. What kind of tires can you suggest? I have michelin sports on now. Ideas?
  8. Hey, A local gas station in my area offers 100+ octane racing gas (its a Union 76 station). I was wondering what issue if any i would run into? I cant buy any better then 91, so i was wondering if i mixed it with 91 like 1/2 and 1/2 or should i just avoid it. :help:
  9. Thank you for the replies! I will check the door for the appropriate info as requested. I will also call the dealer and inquire about the 15K service. The only thing i have noticed so far is a whistle above the driver side windshield (or so it seems) if i go over 85 mph. And suprising enough, i do that! LOL I will call over to my dealer where i bought it and also ask about the brakes and other items listed. But all in all, what a outstanding ride! The speed is amazing in it! :drive:
  10. Hey everyone, new to this forum and new owner of a 1999 white C4, 6 speed, cabriolet. To all other owners of similar cars, anything i need to watch for? The car has 14K miles, is in excellent shape and was just certified by Porsche when i bought it. Has brand new rubber, mich tires, and 18" rims. Just thought i would ask fellow owners! Thanks
