  1. Sorry, but if the code won't clear then you still have a problem and it may be in the wiring. Any sign of rodent damage? I didn't see anything. I will have to look further. That might explain why the car sitting at the mechanic and then this. That harness runs from that module to the ECU I think?
  2. OK, I replaced the Airbag Sensor 996.618.219.01 and same problem. What's next?
  3. OK new question. If I pickup a used airbag sensor (996.618.217.01 - same part # as what is in my car), do I just swap it out and all is good, or is there anything else? I read some post that the dealer will need to code it... Thanks in advance!!!! Chad
  4. Will resetting the fault ensure the module is working? I don't want to be in a situation where the airbags don't work... Note: Fault codes 100 and higher are internal control module faults. The stored faults cannot be erased. You need a new airbag controller. Thanks Loren, that's what I figured...

  6. I looked through the parts catalog, but could not locate this module. Any idea what it is called, where it is, and a part number? Thanks!!! Chad If this is a US/Canada 2002 996TT then you need: 99.661.821.902 Switch Unit -- US MSRP $637.59 -- try Sunset Imports (Porsche parts at Dealer Cost) for better pricing. This control unit controls the driver, passenger and side airbags for that year. Thanks Loren!!!
  7. I looked through the parts catalog, but could not locate this module. Any idea what it is called, where it is, and a part number? Thanks!!! Chad
  8. Your exact fault codes please? Exact same as top of the post: 3 Supply Voltage 195 Control Module Faulty So if the module mysteriously went bad while setting, what module is it? Part number would be handy - looked through the catalog and nothing... Thanks! Chad
  9. Hey guys, having a similar problem with my 2002 996TT. Sat in the shop for a few weeks and now airbag light (same codes). Durametric will not clear them... Anyone figure this out yet?
