  1. Ahhh yes, the 'pool' in the drivers side foot well deal!...ug! I too have had the same prob. with my '95' 993. The answer 99 times out of 100 is the sunroof seals, especially the back one. If you have the front and back sunroof seals replaced (a two piece deal rather than the one piece seal in the 1974 to 1989 cars of which I have 20+ years of experience wit) you'll probable fix the problem. If you still have a problem you can run a 'coat hanger' type wire VERY GENTLY up the drains from the back (hidden by the back deck when down) towards the top of the car. However the new sunroof seals, front and back, should fix the problem, it did for me.
