  1. Follow-Up: The R/R of the water pump was a success. It was much easier than others I've done. Saving the $255 over having someone else do it was a nice bonus. One thing I found out is that you do NOT have to use PORSCHE coolant. You DO want to completely drain and use a coolant (and water) that contains no phosphates. I used Prestone's 5/150 Dex Cool. It's now running a little cooler than it was before too!
  2. I've ordered the parts and am going to attempt this on my own. I'll do a video journal of the process if anyone is interested.
  3. I need to replace the water pump. Parts are around $300 and a local independent will do it for $550 total. I've replaced the starter myself and an confident I can do the water pump as well. My question is are there any Boxster specific pitfalls :eek: on this DIY? TIA
