  1. but what electronics? it's a viscous coupler...
  2. right but goes through a viscous coupler that transfers power to the front wheels. in the 997 it is a mechanical/magnetic/electronic contraption. so there are 3 differentials right? 1 in the rear (an open diff) one in the center (a viscous diff) and one in the front (another open diff) Am I wrong?
  3. wtf? am I asking stupid questions here?
  4. ok how about can anyone tell me if the AWD system in the 993 is any different than the 996?
  5. I called Guard and they don't have anything for the center... does anyone have any other information?
  6. have any of you upgraded your center diff?
  7. thanks I will give them a call later, doesn't seem to be any specific info on the website. are they pretty much the only place?
  8. Hi does anyone know if anyone makes a mechanical LSD upgrade for the center diff in the 996 TT? Something that engages quicker than the viscus unit currently in the car? I've searched but found nothing... thanks in advance for any info.
