  1. Did You manage to get alcantara from this source and if You did, do You remember the price?
  2. Thanks for an excellent tip - I will definitely keep that in mind for future reference. :notworthy: I got the other wheel back today and it seems to be repaired nicely - against all odds ;)
  3. Well, now I do know that ;) So I guess I was just stupid to take it to Discount Tire as even though they are working with wheels & tires they don't know anything about them? I was trying to be sarcastic above ;)
  4. No, I don't have an insurance on the wheels nor the tires. I would imagine that such a shop would be able to dismount the tires w/o damage but little do I know. It is for a fact that I am not going to spend a dime to cover someone else's mistakes so they better step up and rectify the situation...
  5. I was wondering has anyone had such bad luck (as I have now) that upon dismounting of tires two of the wheels were marred. The manager was nice enough (of course) to send the wheels to be repaired and one of the wheels was ok but the other one is still pretty badly marred. This wheel was resent to the repair shop and I was just wondering how hellish of a fight it is going to be if the wheel is not going to be OK after the 2nd repair and I'll have to fight with them to get a new wheel... Btw, shop in question is Discount Tire.
  6. Yep, that's what I had in mind but I was just posting here to take my chances if someone would know the measurements already :) I'll measure it today and I'll post the results later on...should anyone else need to know...
  7. Nobody knows this? Well, I guess it's rather evident what I plan on doing: going to a local muffler shop and get a ready made pipe or make them bend a proper one and then fitting tips into those. Cheap-o bypass pipes in mind...I do love the quality of the fabspeed ones but almost $500 is a LOT for two bent pipes and a pair of tips... If someone knows this - please do post...
  8. What is the exhaust tube diameter? I.e. what is the diameter of the bypass pipe that fits into the stock exhaust - to put it in another way :) Thanks in advance.
