I have already received the code from the dealer and have tired the procedure posted. Problem it... once I give power to the car the alarm goes on and keeps making noise. Even if I do the unlock, lock, unlock I still can't get it to stay quite long enough to reprogram the remote.

I purchased this 1995 C4 from an auction and it was a theft recovery and came with no key or battery. I have since recieved my new key from porsche but when I gave power to the car the alarm keeps sounding and I can't get the car into program mode. Another piece of info, It does have an aftermarket radio in it which works, but there is a green wire behind the radio that isn't connected to anything. Could that be causes the alarm to stay on?
