Once I give a full throttle from 2nd gear, I get a hesitation in acceleration between 5,000-6,000rpm. Actually, the RPM shortly goes down in the range @ WOT. If I gently control the gas pedal though, the symptom doesn't bother me. Besides the range I mentioned, my 07 GT3 runs great without any power loss or hesitation. Is it caused by bad MAF? Any ideas?
Ajayabb, So did you fix the problem? I'm having the same issue here.
X51 vs Miltek Headers Which one will have your vote? Any reason? (price, performance, and quality) Any comment will be welcomed.
Side skirts don't fit because of small factory mud guards in front of rear wheels. Do I need to remove the mud guards in order to put TA side skirts? I believe I have to. Anyone knows how to remove them? Please help me!! :)
Which air filter do you recommend? OEM? BMC? K&N? It's time to replace old one!! :) Any comments are welcome.
Do you recommend EVOMS v-flow kit or not? If you do, why? I need some comments on this please :)
madporsche replied to madporsche's topic in 997-1 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 2S, Carrera 4S)Thank you guys. ^_^
This is my first post of my 997. Here are some pics. Now I need Softronic, Evoms V-flow, and exhaust system (x51 header, 200 cell cats, and muffler). Which 200 cell cats and muffler do you recommend? Any comments are welcome!!
After I installed aftermarket rear spoiler and de-activate the automatic rear spoiler pop up system, rear fan motor sounds louder. It is making noticable noise! Is there any problem with my car? Or is it simply because I de-activated rear spoiler?
There are many options to choose like AWE, Fabspeed, Agency Power, Milltek, and Tubi but why did you go with afterhours system? Is there any particular reasons? Or do you recommend other exhaust instead of Afterhours? And why? I heard a sound clip of Afterhours and it was good. If there is no performance issues, I would go with Afterhours. Before that, I just want to make sure I choosing right one. Please help me on this!! Thank you in advance.
I installed NA auto TA III rear spoiler and put the wiring harness as well at the P-dealer. I was driving on a highway and "failure spoiler control" warning light poped up yesterday. What is the problem here? Do I have to reset the computer at the dealer? Thank you in advance.
Which tool do I need to unscrew the bolt on TA III rear spoiler?
Do you think installing TA type III spoiler at dealer for $200 is reasonable? $200 for replacing the original rear deck lid with TA spoiler and de-activate the auto pop-up stuff? What do you think? Good or bad?
