  1. I have a 2008 boxster. I did try to get it to recognize the new wheels through the Nav. I talked to my local dealer today and was told the sensors would most likely have to be synchronized the the unit in the car. I also found a TSB on this site that states Porsche has changed the sensors I think beginning with 2009 and you have to change to the older style at your expense. If this is true it amazes me, how can you purchase something new it not work and then get charged for it. I'll post again after I visit my local dealer in a couple weeks. Thanks again for responding, Charlie
  2. This is supposed to be the part number for a winter wheel and tire package, including the TPMS sensors. Can anyone verify this number?
  3. I recently purchased a winter wheel and tire package including the tire pressures sensors from a Porsche dealer. I followed the instuctions in the owners manual , but can't get them to work. Any thoughts? This is the part number given to me by the dealer # 98704460050. Does anyone know what this part number is or can you lead me to a source that would know? Hopefully a mistake hasn't been made and the set shipped without the sensors. TIA, Charlie
  4. Funny, I read the instructions about 10 times. It seems I mistook program button on the receiver for the button on the handheld transmitter. Oh well we all learn something new every day. :D
  5. Thank You Vettes73, it worked like a charm. The homlink site also has the same instructions, just found it there after finally getting it to work. Thanks again to all who responded. Charlie
  6. Ok I surrender. I've tried everything. I followed the manual , I tried using the learn code on my system. I have a Genie garage door opener, my Boxster is a 2008. Any suggestions would be appreciated, :help: TIA, Charlie
  7. I have a new to me'08 Boxster.Porsche stopped putting the instructions to access the engine starting with 2007 model year. Go figure, I guess they want you to spend more $$$ at the dealers.
