  1. So I've been having the blinking temperature light problem, and after some searches, found a couple postings related to the temperature sensor in the engine bay. I looked and found that mine has come out of its hole. How do I find it? I've poked around in there but can't feel anything. I'm not horribly technical, so a picture would be great :) Shawn
  2. Once I figured it out, it was easy...but without the help on this forum, I think I would have broken both the old and new one!
  3. I'm trying to swap out the cigarette lighter in my '99 and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the light ring off...not only on the one in the car, but in the process of trying to figure out how to get it off the one in the car I snapped it on the new one as well... Help! :) I've tried pulling, twisting, throwing... Shawn
  4. Does anyone know where to pick up the guage faces and aluminum rings for a descent price? Shawn
  5. Ok, thanks, I had tried searching, but wasn't searching for the right thing. So now I've read about the factory adjuster...and I guess what I'm hearing, is that the only thing to do is to find a stock shifter, reinstall it, use the factory adjustment tool, then reinstall the Schnell? Is it even possible to reinstall the stock once the Schnell has been installed? Am I hosed? :) Shawn
  6. I recently purchased a '99 Cab. The car is in amazing condition with 40K miles, and I'm loving it! I have one problem with the car though, and am looking for some help on what I might need to do to fix it. The car has a Schnell Short Shifter, and it is quite hard to get it into reverse. I sometimes have to use both hands to pull the shifter over the the left to be able to slide the shifter up and into reverse. It doesn't always take that much effort, but I'm a fairly strong guy and if I have to use both hands then it is pretty hard. In fact, I've valeted the car twice and both times the driver couldn't get the car into reverse. I'm fairly certain there isn't anything wrong with the clutch or tranny, it seems to just be a problem with the shifter. Does anyone know what I might want to take a look at to fix it? Is there any kind of adjustment that can be made to make it easier to get the car into reverse?? Thanks! Shawn
