  1. Mother... so no change by replacing the master cylinder? How hard was it to change the master cylinder?
Nope no change. I was going to change it, but let my indy do it, he told me that they are very rare to go out but I was running out of options. Did you try the slamming on the brakes forward and reverse doing about 10-15 mph? My wheels locked up which leads me to beleive that the ABS is shot or going.
  2. Same problem I have and bleed the brakes till I was blue in the face, also installed new master with no change, I just replaced the clutch slave cyl which was leaking, but did not fix brakes. I ended up slamming on by brakes in forward and reverse and they DID lockup which I did not think they should with ABS, but the pedal did come back up like I had a sticking caliper. Time will tell if they sink again. Maybe just sticking worth a try.

  3. Found leak it is inside cabin "note Pics" by the pushrod that goes into the firewall. I had the brake master cylinder replaced not to long ago but not sure that's where it is coming from? The parts show just one seal between the master and the booster so is this another bad master cylinder or can I purchase a internal master seal? Also need to know what to use to clean the floor mat and carpet underneath "what a mess".

  4. My brake fluid light came on the other night then the ABS light, now no brakes and lost allot of fluid if not all in resevoir. I refilled res and brakes still go almost to the floor but do pump up, but need to be pumped up again to brake. I did not spot any leakages under car around wheels or under cover where the I beleive traction control unit is? The brakes where bleed 2K ago and needed pumping up some then to. My question is where are some common places for leaks besides the calipers and clutch solenoid? I will pull tires off tomorrow for inspection but would like some other places to look to.

  5. Ok,I found a rubber gromet which are not used at all just behind the battery, and coming in just above the pedals. I will use this one and seal with some butyl.

Concerning the negative connector for the amp, which is the best, to connect it to the negative terminal of the battery or to a earthing point ?

    Regards,

    Niclas

I used the body earth from the amp to gnd just behind my amp under panel on left side.

  6. Hello !

I am intending to add an amplifier in the booth, but I have issues in figuring out how to pull the (cables 4x signal + 4x speaker + remote on/off) through the firewall of the vehicle. I do not have any amp today in the booth so I cannot "reuse" some cables at all. I found two rubber gromets, on on each side of the battery, but both of these were completely stucked with cables. Are there any else ?

    regards,

    Niclas

Not sure but mine went through the grommet on the drivers side on the firewall just behind where the wires are in the picture under the drivers side cover panel.
