Enjoyed watching some of it guess porsche did not have the right stuff this year but weather looked great for racing and spectators.

I would use any low temp grease and brush the track and cycle the seat.
-
WOW ... you handled that well...glad you're back up having fun again.
-
Sorry I choose the other type, however did notice a number they can be reached at on your link and maybe they can offer the answers you need.

Same problem with mine and narrowed it down to the needing a new cluster or good used, but for the meantime just put a switch in across the fuse to shut lights off manually. GL

I run Verdsteins sencetta made in Denmark real quit and not pricey.

You are right - it is a bit difficult to see with those shots but the results look good.
I think I'm going to try to keep them cleaned up for a while and see how things go.
Thanks for the input. Great reference.

I would be nice after the work you have done that there was not a high temp clear coat to keep them spiffy longer.

I believe you are right on the durametric readings, but was concerned with:
- Adaptation value, area 2, cylinders 1 - 3 (FRA)
- Adaptation value, area 2, cylinders 4 - 6 (FRA2)
- Adaptation value, area I, cylinders 1 - 3 (TRA)
- Adaptation value, area I, cylinders 4 - 6 (TRA2)
What do they represent?
I am concerned about the ones that could give me a indication of AFR and would think that the O2 reading voltage would be one of them in the calculation.
-
Is there anywhere to find info on the above adaptations in common language what they are showing you.?
-
Monitor the fuel trim but there is no actual value that states "Rich" or "Lean" like some domestic scan tools display.
I do not see any fuel trim logging for the durametric?
-
Using the Durametric cable/software parameters to figure out what the AFR is?

When I was pricing the Nacs 300 and 400 series the sound was good and the reviews where so so ....and also missed to many features like in and outs for ext amp etc. The 700 series sounded absolutely wonderful but could not hook-up ipod etc, but the deal breaker was that they where considering dropping there car line of stereos so not knowing that I decided on a double din instead. It truly is a shame because the 700 model was pure heaven to listen to.

I have seen conflicting opinions about the Nakamichi cd player/receiver units, such as the CD 400. Has anyone had experience with these during the past year or two?
What do you mean conflicted?

Roughly 80 to 100 depending, but run a search at these sites for more in depth info.

Give up on convincing the Mrs. they are not wired the same as men, just relish in the fact that your Porsche pals understand your affection to the brand better than your wife, that's all.

+1 on the response.

My understanding is that VHT is made for this purpose and am going to give it a try, but making sure that the parts are properly prepped using steal wool etc. My only concern is longevity of the paint.

From the looks the rears you have 2" gap which is ample room and from what I can tell the stock suspension is stiff compared to many cars I have driven although I have seen potholes the size of sink holes so always good to check periodically.

Great job looks great... what rims, tires and sizes? Any rubbing up front at full lock right or left? I think like mine it needs to come down some but, that's another day.

In the southwest, I run 15/50 mobile 1 and can be had by the 5 quart container at walmart.According to Mobil 1, they only sell it to Walmart. I'm on hold on my 11th Walmart (9 more to call in the Bay Area), and so far none of them have it + its not avail. online. Another older post from Mobil 1 forums says they dont sell it to anyone but dealers. I bought Castrol 5w-50 today but came home and read that is a 200ºc flash point vs. Mobil 1's 228ºcCastrol- Flash Point 200ºc Viscosity Index (179)
Mobil 1- Flash Point 228ºc Viscosity Index (184)
Now the question is - is Castrol going to be ok, what's the next best alternative. Ppl keep recommending 15w-50, although that a completely different oil if I understand correctly. Oil book at Kragen recommended 5w-50 & 0w-40.
Options?:
1. Use the Castrol 5w-50
2. go with the Mobil 1 0w-40
3. Give up and take it to the dealer for the oil changes (BUT I want to do them myself so badly) :wrench:

I run verdsteins and 295/30 rears with 235/35 front 305 fit and have heard 325 fit also but cannot attest to that.
WoW those look great! is your car lowered at all? how wide are your rear rims?
Thanks and No car is not lowered but the 19's fill in the wheel arch gap better without suspension changes. The rears could come down 1' more and the front 2" in my opinion. They are 67" rear offset and 50 something in the front. As you can tell by the original bridgestone's vs the verd tires that the verds have a larger sidewall and are not stiff which gives a nice ride.
Stupidly Overfilled Coolant Tank.
