  4. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?a...sb&code=carrera you mean...the above link? The TSB?... i um... im really srry to bother u... but it seems like i cannot click on the article to open it up... could u plz tell me how can i read the articles? am i having problems with my comp?
  5. I mean... what is the smallest wheel size i can put on my 997? I already have nice 19inch wheel, but its no good for winter season. Over here in my town, during winter... sometimes it snows so much. I am not plaing to bring out my porsche duing a bad weather, but I still want to have a plan B as a back up.... say, like... having snow chain in the trunk so that on the way back home, if it starts to snow, i can put snow chain on my already snow tires... The problem is that, 19inch wheel is already too big... so i dont want to increse the totoal size. Instead... I want to get a brand new set of wheels, and snow tires...which are on good sales. But... at the same time, i want to share these wheels with my normal day use car... nissan bluebird. This model is not on sale in US, but only in Japan and South-Korea. Its just an economic model with about size of honda civic...or low grade nissan sentra. Anyway... since my little nissan does not have enough space for such a bit set of wheels, I like to know how little wheel, a prosche 997 may handle. This has to condier the size of snow tire as well. I cannot get too thick tires... Oh...also, the snow chain too... Thx for all the help guys~ Envy ur experiments and profesionalism. ;-)
  6. I dont live in the states. I need to find out if there is anything i can get in JAPAN. thx
  7. thx for the reply and the kind help. BTW, do u know the links to those worldwide prosche approved oil list? on DIY section I heard that the list is pretty long but the article only showed the list for US sales. thx
  8. Recently I have purchased a 997 C2S. Everything is great and all, but it has a couple problems first, although I usually start drving after 20 min of pre-warm up. The oil pressure still shows up about 5.0 bar! Its way above than normal, which should be around 3.5 The oil level was already a little bit low when i got the car (the car has only 420km on it!) So I thought that this is what might caused the problem...(Althought it does not make any sence) but no...even after I added up more engine oil the oil pressure is still 5.0! Iam thinking about changeing my engine oil and oil filter ASAP. Hopeing, that might fix the problem. Because I dont live in the states, I assume this cheap %$& importing company might did something wrong (It already had 150km on it when I got my first car!) So I need to find out all the list of porsche approved engine oil list for worldwide. Anyone knows where the link might be? I heard the list is pretty darn long~ And... if anyone had this similar problem with their new prosche, please share the information with me. I heard its normal thing for a barnd new prosche. And it will settle down after the break in period, but i want to find out now if there is any problem, so that I can claim this improting company about it. Thx for all urhelp and god bless ur prosches, whatever the model might be~ PS Anyone knows how to pre-warm up an engine properly in a cold weather?? I heard it is bad for the engine if I just start the car and let it sit there
