  1. Ok, so here's the story. AC was working perfect. Out of the blue, zzzzzz no air. Nothing! Just dead :drive:. Durametric Pro says typical code 353: "Feedback from blower regulator front, value below lower limit value" Battery was replaced as it was giving me a hard time... It was replaced 2 days ago... There's no voltage to the plug that goes to the blower... No voltage to the blower blue regulator behind the glove box [plug with dual wires brown and black]... Fuses are all perfect on the engine bay, right side, left side and even I checked the ones under the driver's seat that I didn't know there was a 40A and a 5A fuses when the battery was replaced. Curious thing is that I tested voltage delivered to fuse 57 and it was 10.38 volts.... All these tests were performed with the Cayenne running and AC fan at all different speeds. I think I made a so far good troubleshooting but, don't know where else to look... I also checked the wiring diagrams, but feel kind of lost -_- . I also made a search here at :renntech: but not as far as I have gone in the troubleshooting... Any more ideas? :help: :lightbulb: :thankyou:
  2. DIY - Boxster S Cup Holders Removal & Maintenance I read other threads regarding removal of the Cup Holders. Haven't seen one with pics, so I took a few shots and hope can help a bit... I hate these Cup Holders... They feel sticky most of the time, but it's part of their construction... This is part of what I did recently (15 Sep 2010). Hope it helps and it's just a guide and 1st post. I'm no expert, so work safe and with patience... So Pics are: 1, 2 3, 4 and so on... Pic #1 - Front Console [a.k.a. Horse Shoe].   3. I read other threads regarding removal of the Cup Holders. Haven't seen one with pics, so I took a few shots and hope can help a bit... I hate these Cup Holders... They feel sticky most of the time, but it's part of their construction... This is part of what I did recently (15 Sep 2010). Hope it helps and it's just a guide and 1st post. I'm no expert, so work safe and with patience... So Pics are: 1, 2 3, 4 and so on... Pic #1 - Front Console [a.k.a. Horse Shoe]. Pic #2 - Insert something plastic at the bottom and pull . Pic #3 - Pull and twist to the left [You'll do the same with right side, but will twist right] Pic #4 - Insert again your plastic tool in the Cup Holder's bezel and pull. Pic #5 - #7 - Work in progress... Pic #8 - Remove those 4 screws as shown.... Pic #9 - Pull out Cup Holders Pic #10 - Coca-Cola all over the radio!!!! Clean it.... Pic #11 - Oil or grease points shown. Yellow gears are the ones that slow down the Cup Holder when it goes out. The other [the second from left to right] it's the locking mechanism. I used the dielectric clear grease for spark plugs.... Very nice results.... Pic #12 - That's the Part Number printed on the Cup Holders, so if you decede to bought them brand new there's a reference for you... REMEMBER: My Boxster is Boxster S 2001....
  4. I'm sorry if sounds like re-mapping or something else, but I was referring to a "General Maintenance"... I did the following: 1. Clean Throttle Body and Mass Flow Sensor. 2. Engine overall clean-up. 3. Replace the Spark Plugs & the 6 Coils. 4. Replace Water Pump & Thermostat. 5. Replace Serpentine Belt. 6. Change Oil & Oil Filter. 7. Replace Fuel Filter. 8. Replace Air Filter & Cabin Air Filter. I think it's enough and around $600.00... I'm waiting for the headers ( :D "

  6. I'm giving a good tune-up to my Boxster... I've read in RennTech about the AOS, but what are the symptoms to be replaced ??? Sometimes when I cold-start my car a huge smoke comes out the exhaust, but that's it... No major or noticiable oil comsumption... I checked the line that goes to the Throttle Body, but a little oil, no gunk there neither in the plastic intakes that says "PORSCHE"... As I'm doing this "Major Tune-Up", it is recommended to replace it ???

  8. Newbie, here!!! I'm giving a tune up to my Boxster... I cleaned the Throttle Body , but the flap is open on top and bottom nearly 1/32" if I push it it closes, but come back to the semi-open position... If this is not normal, does anyone has made adjustment to the TB flap??? I opened, but looks delicate, so if someone can help me out, will be appreciated... If got pics, will be much better....
