  1. Hi Danny:

What ever happened with your 0.4 bar turbo glitch?

  2. Hi Guys, I have been the proud owner of a 2005 Cayenne turbo for 3 months now, the other day a strange thing occured whilst driving, on kick down the gearbox dropped to 3rd(as usual) the turbos kicked in (as usual) but at 0.4bar they dropped out and all acceleration stopped, this happened whenever I tried to accelerate rapidly. However 8 hours later after the car had been parked up all was well again(back to 0.8bar and not cutting out), although the engine oil light came on when taking a hump back bridge at speed (oil level was fine when checked), the car has used 750ml of oil in 6 weeks is this usual? On speaking to an independent porsche engineer he said it was probably a glitch and that oil use was normal because of the turbos, I always drive the car hard and take maximum joy from the rapid acceleration. Should I be worried about any of the above? What could have caused the glitch? Is it likely to reccur or cause damage to the engine? I have also found that there is a leak into the drivers side footwell, where do I need to look to fix this? I would greatly appreciate you combined wisdom. Kind regards Dan
