  1. Try this link http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?a...ownloadv&id=365 or look up 1715 New Design Oil Filler Tube Dec 22,2000 Ryan
  2. Just installed the Remus Exhaust. So far I am very happy. :D I'm impressed with the quality of the materials, the fit and the finish. Especially for the price, $700 to the door. This exhaust will easily last as long as the factory equip. It took me about two hours, from putting the car on the ramps to taking it for a test drive. Everything lined up perfectly. Now for what really counts, how it sounds. Deep, very deep at low revs (can barely tell a diff at idle). Above 3000 rpm it accents the intake growl (best way I can describe it). I've driven it with top up and top down. There is no resonance and droning. My fiancee actually likes it, she wouldn't ride in my 968 with the B&B cat back on it. As far a performance goes there is a noticeable increase from 3500 rpm and up. The highly calibrated butt dyno says 5 to 10 in that range. Ryan
  3. I don't know where the oil seperator bellows hose is but, I just cleared the same P1128 code on my 2000. It was the oil fill tube. The section between the bulkhead of the engine compartment and trunk to the hard tube mounted on top of the engine. There is a TSB on this and it appears to be a common problem. I discovered this (I read about it on this site) after changing the plugs and cleaning the throttle body (I cleaned the throttle body thinking the problem might have been the IAC as it turns out the Egas cars donot have an IAC) didn't clear the CEL. The give away that there might be a hole in the tube is a build up of oil on top of the engine below the tube. A $28 part from the dealer. It took me about an hour to replace. Good Luck
  4. Thanks I disconnected the battery to clear the CEL. It worked, but the idle was hunting really bad when I first started it up. I drove it and the idle jumped around for about 10 minutes of the drive then it was fine. The CEL hasn't come on yet (about 100 miles). Do you think the computer would compensate for a dirty MAF and TB? I'm still going to clean them this weekend. Can't hurt. Ryan
  5. I got the PDF. That is really going to help. I also have lopping a idle and the slight shudder at take off, the shudder is not always there. I thought it might have been the clutch. I'm going to give both of those a look this weekend. I'll post my results Thanks Ryan
  6. porscheneer Could you send that PDF to me again. I didn't have my account set up correctly. What were the 2 isolated problems if you don't mind me asking. Thanks
  7. Thanks Loren I changed the plugs yesterday and saw that there was some oil on the rear of the engine and also oil on the oil filler tube. I think I read that the filler tube can be a possible cause of a vacum leak. Is the oil fill tube hard to replace? Ryan
  8. I want to start by saying hello to everyone. I only found this site a week or two ago and it has been a great resource. I have a P1130 code, by it's self, for my 2000 Boxster. I've searched through past posts and all of the them that I found, with the 1130 code, had the 1128 code with it also. I was hoping someone could help me narrow down where I should start at since it is only one bank recording the fault. Thanks in advance for the help Ryan
