  1. OK, appears to be fixed..... With the hood up and engine running I could hear what sounded like a vacuum leak. After some investigation I found a rubber tee in the vacuum lines that run under the throttle body was the culprit. The tee is supposed to be held to the Y shaped plenum that attaches to the trottle body. It was not, clip was broken. That allowed the tee to rest against the serpentine belt and pulley which wore a hole through it.... I did not get the factory tee, just a brass one and some 3/8 fuel/vacumm hose and re routed and connected the line all back up again. Problem appears to be solved. Leak is gone, codes have not returned and it is shifting properly.... Cheers
  2. Not sure on Key cycles, after a maybe 25 miles.... No transmission codes. However I think I have found the issue, a little work tomorrow and I will report back! Cheers
  3. I have access to one next week and will see what it says......
  4. I can clear them, then they return after a short while. The codes appear twice, once stating that they are not causing DTC and then agian stating they are once the light comes on. The symptoms while driving are that it is does not want to shift up down in the usual fashion, seems to hold gears longer under light load. No other faults anywhere in the vehicle.... Once reset, it runs great until the codes re appear.... Cheers
  5. Getting a check engine light on our 05 turbo. Codes pulled off Durametric are PBB48 and PBD48. Never heard or seen codes in that format.... Ideas?? Cheers
  6. I have run them both, but on 911's. I use the 615 as my street tire on my mostly track 911. They do make a better autox tire than DE tire as they do tend to go away with a little heat. I ran a DE a few years back with the MX and for a street tire it held up pretty well and remained fairly consitent throught out each session. Cheers
  7. Current late model porsche wheels are actualy cast and not forged. The original Fuchs wheel was a forged wheel but the later ones are all pressure cast. Pressure casting creates a wheel of good quality at a reasonable price but they tend to be heavier than an equivilant strength forged wheel. Cheers
