  1. working now!! not sure if the main connector was just not in all the way? I made sure it was pressed in there as well as possible and whah lah!! (main connector into the door motor/control module) thanks for all your help!
  2. good info thanks! i looked on the auto atlanta parts list and there is a huge list of control modules not specifying which one is the door.... again, the power window switch on the passenger side works. weird. any way it could be a relay? I checked all related fuses and non are blown. I can triple check all connections and look at all connectors very carefully.
  3. Thanks so much! I have additional info. I now have discovered none of the buttons on that door work. the power mirrors do not work, the power seat does not work. i had tried to disconnect the battery cable to try to reset. the window ended up going down another inch or more on its own but cannot be controlled by the switches. I think it tried to roll down again when opening the door. now does not move. all the connections are connected but I will have to open it up again and triple check everything and look at everything closely. does the control module control everything on that door? Thanks! Brian
  4. Hello! Need some help. I searched the forums about microswitches however none of the problems were the exact same as what is happening here with mine. the drivers side window interior switches to not operate either window currently. When using the passenger switch, it raises and lowers the passenger window. In addition to the driver's side window rocker switches not working for either window, the drivers window does not go up and down and it is stuck in the 1/4" from the top position. It does not move at all when the door is opened or closed. Any assistance would be much appreciated!! Thanks!! Brian
  5. Hello, Cylinder locations? Where is Cylinder 1? is there a diagram somewhere? 2005 997 Carrera 2 Thanks! Brian
