  1. Not sure what to tell you. Here are some pics of the rear rotors on 997 GT3 http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/7084499-post4.html (apologize if posting a link to RL on RT is a faux-pas) These pics are PCCB, but my steel ones are the same (I just changed the pads). There is a solid bar across the outside of the caliper, and you have to take the caliper off the rotor to remove the pads.
  2. On the GT3s, you DO have to remove the calipers to change the pads. Some recommend that you replace the rear caliper bolts everytime you remove them to chage pads. I can't find the link, but I understood the proper torque for the caliper bolts to be between 60 and 65 ft-lbs. Over time, the threads will fail, and you will have to do something. I just inserted two timeserts over the weekend. There is a discussion on this topic over at rennlist.
  3. When I did european delivery, the Porsche was still in the break-in period during our time in France. My father did get a ticket on the border between Switzerland and France. Don't really know how fast he was going, but we paid the fine in cash (about 100 euros as I recall, around $135 at the time). But, as we got back into Germany, we were able to find some nice stretches of the Autobahn. :drive:
