  1. Essentially what you have is a Cayenne Turbo S, therefore on tap is 513bhp, bigger calipers and discs all round, larger intercoolers and stronger front air struts. Not sure what you meant to say but enjoy the ultimate factory Cayenne!

  3. Im have the same problem too, when I put the temp to HI for both sides, the left side blows very warm as expected but right side is still ice cold.
  4. Many thanks for the speedy reply. I have just ordered the VW kit (7LO 698 030) - came to around £112.00.
  5. Hello All I've just started to get the common Air Suspension Fault Warning (2003 TT) on my instrument cluster, sometimes when I start the vehicle, sometimes a few metres down the road and sometimes not at all! Vehicle has covered 70,000 miles. The air suspension seems to be working as normal, not noticed any difference. A scan with Durametric (On Level Control) has revealed the following; 1772 - Signal Lead for Pressure Sensor Can this problem be resolved with the VW Compressor re-build kit? Sorry, I did do a search but could not find any real answers. Thanks
  6. I'll second that, do not under any circumstances drive the Turbo unless you plan to buy it, otherwise the Cayenne V6 & V8 will seem inferior performance wise. I have a 2004 Turbo too, had it 8 weeks and covered 2K without any problems.
  7. I think you are going to have to look at another CT - none of the diagrams I have show the lines routing - they only show the major components. Perhaps someone here can look on their CT and even take a pic for you. Thanks Loren Appreciated as always.
  8. Loren - Could you please help me with this? I still have not resolved it, cant see where the pipe is supposed to go. Thanks
  9. I am guessing this vacuum pipe should go to a T-peice somewhere behind the engine, the problem is Im not sure where exactely. It is too far back to see and feeling your way around is no easy task.
  10. Hi I have since managed to source a firmware update CD for PCM2.0 Please contact me via PM.
  11. Hello All Today I checked my spark plugs and noticed that one of the breather pipes seems to have broken away and fallen off. It would appear that a 'bodge' job was carried out to rejoin the two pipes as a larger pipe has been used to sleeve both ends of the pipe. The problem is, I have no idea where this pipe is supposed to go and it is not easy to see around the back of the engine. Also, I've no idea what the effect the broken pipe will have on the vehicle. I have attached two photos showing the pipe in question, feedback would be greatly appreciated as always. Regards
  12. Seems like good value. Installation instructions seem sufficient, however it is not for the novice, I would recommend having it done by someone comfortable with this kind of thing. The actual interface PCB is definately made in China - perhaps the reason for the good price?
  13. Check the contacts on the steering wheel with a continuity test (with a meter).
  14. Hi - Apparently you can upgrade the PCM2 firmware using a CD-ROM from Porsche. This disc upgrades the firmware from software version 2.0 to 3.0. Im not really sure of the actual improvements but I believe it enables Post Code/Zip Code Input for destination? I have an upgrade disk for 966/Boxter but not for Cayenne, apparently these use a different Device Number (6635 I think). Can anyone else help us?
  15. Im a month into owning my 2003 Cayenne Turbo and have noticed that whilst cruising, particularly on the motorway, the Tiptronic is 'slow' sometimes changing up from 4th to 5th. In this instance the Revs increase and when the 'delayed' changeover does take place eventually I am greeted by a thump as the changeover happens abruptly. This does not always happen but has happended quite a few times. Driving in Manual mode the Tiptronic unit seems to respond quickly to any requests to change gear. is this a valve body problem or does my Tiptronic ECU need a reflash to latest s/w version? Thanks
  16. Check bother the Coil and Injector wiring/plugs for any shorting or lack of insulation.
  17. I remember this vehicle going on ebay a couple of weeks ago or so. It looked clean and LPG on a Cayenne S is ok if installed correctly, however Porsche do not recommend it and forget about OPC Warranty. Never heard of the problem he mentions, sounds like bull to me. Anyway, it could be that the seller has decided he could get more for the vehicle and trying to put you off the sale (most likely).
  18. Please use lower case - so much easier to read. Also, please post codes from Durametric - I have just gone through the same problem on my Turbo and resolved it.
  19. It is very likely a dry solder joint somewhere, however, trying to spot it on a PCB with surface mount components is gonna be near impossible. I recommend reflowing the board with Heat Gun, it will definately solve the problem. These units can get quite hot and suffer if any soldering is sub-standard.
  20. Hello All Could someone confirm if the Turbo and Turbo S Front and Rear Calipers are the same? Is it just the Brake Disc size which is larger on the Turbo S? Thanks
  21. RFM - Many thanks, all you guys have just resolved my problem! I pulled the injector plug for cylinder 1 as indicated by wvicary and noticed that on the injector cable one of the wires going into the injector plug must have been rubbing against something and now exposed showing about 2mm of copper about 5mm away from the plug. It must have been shorting somehow since the voltage is effectively a pulse, and I know the heat does not help. I have for now wrapped the exposed copper in insulation tape and the cayenne is now running beautifully. Ideally, I need to cut away the exposed copper and re-solder to a new injector plug. Does anyone know if these plugs can be purchased from Porsche? Thanks
  22. Guys Im still not 100% sure that I am looking at the right cylinder here, could someone please tell me where cylinder one is supposed to be? Could someone please look at the image below and tell me if I have got the cylinder numbers right? Thanks
  23. Guys Just to update you all. I got round to replacing all the spark plugs and the other bank of coils with new ones. So the Cayenne now had new plugs and coils. When I fired up the Cayenne it still seemed to be running rough and CEL was still lit solid. So I read codes using Durametric which gave me the following; P0201 - Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit P0300 - Random/Muliple Cylinder Misfire P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected P0571 - Brake Switch A Circuit So I cleared codes and somehow the engine started to run smoother but still not firing on cylinder 1. CEL was now gone, I drove vehicle for 10 miles and all of a sudden Cylinder 1 started firing again. Another 10 miles and the misfire returned for a couple of minutes and then went again. CEL lit up again, I re-read usng Durametric and got the following; P0201 - Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit The CEL has now gone but misfire comes and goes randomly, but most times engine runs ok and CEL has not returned. When I originally pulled all the old spark plugs I noticed that Cylinder 1 plug was a little oily compared to the rest? Im not sure what else to look for now to resolve this problem. Can anyone help?
  24. Thanks for the reply, I have ordered another 4 Coils and a full set of new Spark Plugs. Can anyone confirm if these are pre-gapped or do I need to gap these myself? Thanks
