  1. I have a 1999 996 C2 Cab with 17 inch wheels. I have two questions that hopefully someone can answer. Are there any issues with replacing my 17 inch wheels with 19 inch wheels? I also have a problem with striking the engine and skid plate on driveways with a slope. I replaced the rear struts and springs and it did not solve it. I always have to be overly careful about driving up or down driveways. Any ideas?
  2. I have the 17 inch wheels on my 996. Can anyone tell me what their experience is with maybe a 19 inch wheel. I want to upgrade but am concerned with rubbing etc.
  3. 152,989 miles. New engine at 148,000. Everything else pretty nice. The transmission is a little tired but the syncros are hanging in there!
  4. Oscar, Thanks for that great DIY along with the pictures. I first tried the McGuire's Headlight Restoration Kit and it was just so-so. I purchased the 3M one thanks to you at Auto Zone and they came out great. Thanks again,
  5. I thought that maybe there were some things that I could check before taking it to the shop. Thanks again
  6. I recently had the front seats reupholstered and reinstalled them making sure the connectors under each seat were securely attached. I have read in this forum of belt buckls, but does anyone have any other ideas on this. I got the airbag light immediately after I turned on the ignition. Thanks for your help.
  7. I just replaced the rear panel on the spoiler and while doing this, I noticed that the spoiler where attached on both sides to the motors is dry. Is this normally lubed? If so, what would you recommend?
  8. 149.995 miles. Engine was replaced at 137,000. Top was replaced at the same time. Runs great! Bought this bad boy for $5500.00. It was a smokin' deal.
