  1. need to get a new set of 21" summer tires for my cayenne. From Canada....where is the best place to buy them? Have looked at tirerack.com....pirelli's for $320/tire. Any other recommendations on where to be buying them? Any suggestions would be appreciated... Thanks, B
  2. Just purchased a 2009 Cayenne GTS. Would like to convert the metrics from Miles to KMS....anyone know how to do it? Any help would be appreciated....Thanks, B
  3. Have a 2009 Cayenne GTS - looking to buy a set of winter tires and wanted to get some feedback on best tires/place for best deal to get them. As well, should I be sticking to the 21" with winter tires or dropping in size? Any suggestions/help are most welcome... Thanks, Bill
  4. Am from Canada - just purchased a 2009 Cayenne GTS in the U.S. Need to 'Canadianize' the vehicle and have been told its pretty easy to do the 2 changes - turn odometer from Miles to KMS. And secondly, turn on the daylight running lights. Does anyone know how to do this easily? Do I need to bring this to a dealership to make these modifications or can I do them myself? Thanks, Bill :P
  5. Understand Porsche as of a couple of weeks ago has changed the process on importing a vehicle making it more expensive for us Canadians who want to buy from the U.S. Has anyone recently brought a car across the boarder? About to buy a 2008 Cayenne GTS in the U.S...wanted to see if anyone has experienced this new process and weather it is worth still buying in the U.S. Hear there is an additonal $1250 inspection fee that is now done at the Porsche dealership once the vehicle crosses the boarder - and if anything fails, warranty doesn't carry over - seems abit unrealistic...we are at the mercy of the dealership who can be real assho*** knowing that the vehicle is from the U.S. Has anyone recently experienced the shipment of a porsche vehicle across the boarder? Cheers, B
  6. I'm faced with the same dilemma - but for me its an '06 Turbo S or '08 S....I've driven both now - love the 2nd generation design but hard to pass up on the power of the Turbo S! Have heard too many bad things about the turbo's having problems though....let me know which way your leaning towards.... Decisions decisions.....good luck!
  7. Hi There....new to this site. About to make my first Porsche purchase - 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Excited about the power but was wondering from those that have one, how bad is it on gas? Should I be considering a GTS instead as will be using for day to day needs? Or are they fairly comparable?
  8. I'm new to this site....In the process of buying a Cayenne....have an opportunity to purchase a 2006 Turbo S (27,000miles) for $52k or the newer generation, 2008 Cayenne S for the same price (15,000miles)...Torn....Any recommendations from the Porsche Cayenne enthusiasts? Any help would be appreciated....Thanks...Bill
  9. Just bought a Cayenne with no Sat radio....is it easy to install in vehicle? Or is this a dealer job?
  10. Have a Caynne S - wanted to see if it was possible to install the TPMS? If its a dealer thing, how much would it run me? Is it worth it?
