  1. Agreed. Replace main battery & check it's connections. Been through a few of the weird electrical things with a dead "under seat" battery. My Cayenne always started and ran well on just the rear battery...as it should.
  2. I am following instructions outlined in the owners manual. If there is no trick to it that experience has shown, I am guessing heat or time must have made the "grommet" difficult to remove. Perhaps I need to use even more force.
  3. Regarding side/parking/running lights (seems they have a lot of names, it's the W5W bulb directly under the headlight in Bi Xenon) .Reading the owners manual, I can easily remove Bi Xenon headlamp assy from car, unclip & remove rear headlamp cover, and locate the rear of the socket of W5W "side marker" bulb. The manual says "pull lamp holder out of bracket", The back of the socket has a long grab handle of plastic which I'm pulling on hard enough to break. I cannot pull it out on either lens. I can easily rotate the socket in the lens assy but I don't feel a key, lock tab or anything similar. And It's a wedge mount bulb that pushes in from the front of the socket.
