  1. I took my '99 996 Cab for a Euor RoW suspension upgrade. When I got it home and lowered the top, the latch that holds the top in place punctured the top and now there is a hole in the top. Does this entire top have to be replaced? - If so, will it ever be the same? - Quality installation is what I am concerned about.
  2. Hi Gert, thanks for your response a while back. Can you take a look at this link regarding the same issue? - http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=26 I am trying to figure out if I got the correct part numbers. Thanks
  3. Loren or Gert or someone in the know, I am not sure if I got the correct part numbers. I ordered a RoW M030 suspension kit for my 1999 C4 cab 6 speed. According to Loren, I should have gotten the following part numbers … for the Rear Springs (996 333 531 37 marked brown and red); and for the Rear Sway Bar (996 333 701 17). (By the way, my VIN number is such that it requires the 996 333 531 37 or equivalent not the 996 333 531 04 which would be for lower numbered VIN numbers.) what I got .. for the rear springs was 996 333 531 12 (marked in Brown and Red); and for the rear sway bar I got 996 333 701 19. When I called the Porsche dealer to see what happened, I was told that what I got are updates from the old part numbers. Loren, Gert or anyone in the know, can you please check and see if I have the correct part numbers. Thanks. Tony :)
  4. On the attached picture, which springs are for the rear? I was shipped the wrong ones and need to know which ones to ship back. The part number labels are not attached to the springs.
  5. I could take them out and use this stuff... http://www.autopia-carcare.com/wus-892181.html What do you think?
  6. I thought about refinishing my own wheels. I saw this paint. What do you think? http://www.autopia-carcare.com/wus-892181.html
  7. Thanks once again Loren, BTW - do you know the part numbers for the Hood/Trunk release levers? Can those be purchased separately(I just want to replace the two levers as described in your DIY section). Thanks - Tony
  8. I need the part number for a Engine Protection Plate on a 1999 996 C4 Cab 6-speed. Thanks tony
  9. There are a couple of parts (ie drivers side left bolster and right side thigh support) that I need to replace on my black leather seats. Can I purchase just the sections I need or would I be better off purchasing the entire leather parts for the whole seat? Whatever the answer - where is good place to buy these? Will aftermarket be as good or better than OEM or should I buy Porsche only? Thanks :) Tony
  10. Yikes!! - I got a Glad Sandwich bag and I guess if I try, I can blow reallllllly hard. :D Oh well. Thanks for your response - looks like I'll get a foam insert as suggested previously.

  16. Thanks Loren, my 996 is a 6speed. My VIN number is xxx - I assume this number is higher than the ones you list so I should use the 996 333 531 37 (marked Brown/Red) part number - correct?? Also, the numbers you gave me are the ones for the RoW Sport suspension that lower the car 20mm in the front and 10mm in the rear - correct? Thanks
  17. Loren, can you post the correct part numbers for the Euro RoW MO30 Suspension, front & rear? I have a 1999 996 Cab C4. A shop in town said they could probably beat whatever I am getting it for. Thanks. - And GREAT site!!! Tony

  21. I will be ordering the Euro Sport Suspension Package for my 1999 996 Cab. How much have you guys had to pay to have this package installed (how many hours to do the actual job)? Also, are there any particular things I should tell the mechanic regarding setting that I should have done? Thanks
  22. I have a 1999 996 Cab C4 and want to upgrade my suspension to the P96 Euro Sport Suspension Package (from carnwell). I am also interested in upgrading to Ruf 19" wheels: front 19 x 8.5 and rear 19 x 10's. Will this set up work?
