  1. I had some engine work done at the dealership last year just before winter. Everything went fine and I stored the car for the winter. Today I was doing a first wash of the car and noticed that my left bumperette is loose. The top of it can be pulled but not completely off. I am assuming the dealership didnt fully reinstall them when doing the work. Can I snap them back into place or do I have to take off the whole rear bumper? I am sure the dealership won't reinstall them for free because it has been several months since the work. Thanks for the help guys. Vik
  2. I forgot to mention that they replaced the engine mounts too. I will mention the loose rear swaybar. Thanks for the help Loren! Vik
  3. Here are my car specs: 2003 911 Carrera 2 Tiptronic S 20k miles I recently have been hearing a thud from the rear of the car when accelerating hard. When I accelerate slowly there are no noises from the rear. The thud can be hear from a stop or low speed hard acceleration. I took the car into the dealership and it has been there 5 days. The service manager said the sound came from worn transmission mounts, so they replaced them. However, now they say they can hear a softer clunk noise from the rear when accelerating. They have had my car 3 days since they fixed the intial issue. They are now putting on microphones around the car to identify the area of the noise. The service manager said he has not had to replace tranny mounts on at tip before. He says that everything is being covered under warranty, which makes me feel better, but I still dont have my car! Anyone know what can be wrong with my car? Do you think I should take it to another dealer or give him a couple more days? Thanks for the help in advance. Vik
  4. Yes. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...ost&p=14457 :P Thanks! I didn't see your post. The old adapter just slid off and the old tube fit right into the new adapter. Thanks again for your help.
  5. Sorry to bring an old thread back to life, but I just installed the Duralast battery from Autozone in my 2003 Carrera. I connected the new vent tube with adapter to the old vent tube with adapter. Did I need to cut off the old vent tube adapter and connect it straight to the tube? Thanks for the help. Vik
