I just ordered and installed the Harvey PNP rear speaker kit in my '02 S about 1 week ago... I would agree that it won't blow you away like some aftermarket systems, but I think that was the best $250 you can spend on audio. :clapping: > the "surround" effect allows you to have more typical in-car imaging than without ... I have my fader set on 3 or 4 and it brings the sound more into the middle of the car [versus coming from the dash before]. Not surround sound as in home theater, but better imaging. > I *think* I detect a little more low end from the door speakers ... but that might be perception stemming from the fact that I use the sys at different volumes now > once wiring installed, you can always progressively upgrade portions of the system - i.e. high end speakers in the doors with a new amp, even upgrade the PNP's [which is what I plan to do some day] Overall - I was ready to drop $2k on a new system, and this small investment and easy install has made me less antsy to upgrade the rest of the parts. And - incidentally, I'm a reformed home audio nut who used to spend hours listening to and tweaking very high end home audio ....

I made the wire run up the center console - any reason to disconnect the battery? [since I am no where near the airbags/sensors] Or can I just pull the radio & plug in the brown plug? '02 "S" Thanks, Sean
