look forward to some back roads tomorrow
  2. I am amazed at the response to the slightest input.
  3. Putting the role bar in tonight :-(
  4. greg: that was the first career when I was poor.
  5. did it work? Should be a pic of the car at the dealer. I will pick it up tomorrow after work.
  6. TRG has replacement spoiler for under $200. The puch pin type is the one to use. Check for any daylight between the spoiler and the bumper before tracking. I had two peal off @ 115+mph and 135mph. One was run over by the guy behind me and cut it on half. The other was recovered and put back one.
  7. In Seattle Moton's are very popular with the GT3 folks. A great shop in town thinks the dampening is not right for lots of track, autoX use. any that is the reason for teh "twitch". I will not do anything until 2006. I want to learn the car first and have my abilities catch up with the car. Then comes the Motons, Light Flywheel, and tires. This year is the balance, seat, harness and bar. Maybe PDE in the summer.
  8. how do I down load pics?
  9. my 2004 GT3 guards red,PCCB, alum. instrument just rolled off the truck. It should havve it tomorrow. Maybe I will drive to Montana Sunday. :jump:
  10. then iI see a guy that has 9000 track mile on the car. Now his rotors are gone, but for me it will take years to rack up that kind on number. Your friends car... when was this? That sounds more like a defect than heat. Does anyone else have something like this? I have yet to hear that the rotors do not out last the irons. It is the return on investment. Can you get the to last long enough?
  11. mds: the only complaint I hear on rennlist or other forums is that PCCB wear fast. As such the cost to track is very high. Since they do not wear out within a lapping day how would they be a hazard?
  12. I think the bolts are #12 torque. To avoid any airbag issue make sure the key is not in the car until you are done.
  13. My 2004 GT3 Guards Red, PCCB, is on the truck to me in Seattle I will put in Euro seats, bar, Schroth harness which I am moving over from my 2002 C2. I will also have a corner balance and alienment the day of delivery. Do not know enough to ask for any help yet except: Does anyone track DE/lapping days with PCCBs? If so are they as bad as I am hearing now that I got them?
