  1. @krunkmonkey, was there any instructions for drilling the plate at various points that is sandwiched in between the two half's of the VB? Anyone know where i can download the instructions?
  2. Loren, can you PM me the info you sent the OP when you have a moment. Thank you. 06 CTTS Also would (2) 500ml bottles of brake fluid be enough to flush or should it be (3) bottles.
  3. Thanks, I placed the order, will see what happens, all parts for the triangle were available, so I will see how it goes when it comes in. The first aid kit was not, replaced with an Audi first aid kit, oh well :)
  4. OK, so it seems I have everything but the first aid kit and the Warning triangle setup. Can anyone share a picture of the Warning Triangle and Firstaid kit placement? I snapped a picture of where I believe the part 955 721 724 00 (support warning triangle) gets mounted with (2) 908 183 01 Pan-head screws? is this correct. Also for part number 955 721 723 00 (mounting warning triangle) for the bottom of the triangle case, is that just loose or it gets mounted some how? as it does not meantion a screw or anything? Is the first aid kit worth it? if I recall it was a bit pricey. I am placing an order for a few other items from suncoast today, so would like to wrap this up :) Very much appreciated!
  5. Thank you thak you :), now I can go look for them :), dont recall seeing anything but the suspension module and cd changer back there (right side panel).
  6. So it seems I do have just about everything, but the screw driver 955 721 135 04 where would that go? and unless I am looking in the wrong area no Warning Triangle parts at all? Can anyone share a picture of where it should be? I have also attached a picture of someone elses I found on the web, it seems to have a small yellow something in it, please see red arrow.
  7. How are you Loren, Would you be able to check if this is the correct part number for an 06 cayenne turbo to replace the rear stainless steel trim: 955-505-787-00, retail cost? and if there is a diagram how to replace it? Many thanks.
  8. Hi Loren, I would like to purchase the missing piece/s to the tool kit in the rear hatch area, seems I am missing at least two. Also do you have one of those diagrams of what each one is for, dont laugh, outside of the jack I dont know what the rest are or are for. pictures below.
  9. How are you Loren, Hope all is well. I need to triple check the paint codes to give to a body shop. This is for a 2006 cayenne CTTS 1) Satin Aluminum (metallic?) the color they use on the window trim, bottom of doors, maybe rims... I found L4W9 2) Marine Blue Metallic (I believe it was only made available on CTTS and Titanium editions) L35V (but VIN print out shows LD5Q?) Many thanks.
  10. Do they have the same type of kit (whell arch extentions) for a 2006 Cayenne Turbo body?
  11. Sweet, thanks Rizzo!!! Now I just need to find out what sizes I will need and get a set.
  12. I am working on swapping out the oem brake line to SS lines very soon. I have the WM's from PIWIS TSI, it states 10.5 lbs torque for the lines. How does one go about torquing open end screws etc... sorry it I did not state this correctly. My torque wrench acceptes sockets, but you cannot get a socket over say a brake line. Does anyone know if there is such a tool, whats its call, where to get one? Also does anyone know the torque settings for OEM Techno Sport rims? Mine is a '06 CTTS (10" rears) is that matters.
  13. Horrible rims, I will take them and the brakes from you :), sweet ride. What size and width are does rims? same info for the brakes please? most interesting... (price if you dont mind sharing)
  14. no. Though, it can be done but you will not end-up with a nice finished product, as I wanted to achieve. what I have done. I went with the face lift option. Now, if you go this route you can order the OEM lights with black interior; it a Tequipment option now for the 2007-2010 Cayenne's. Good luck. Do you have the Tequipment part number you can share with us?
  15. I wanted to reach out to the members here and see if anyone has or has had experience with TechArt's lowering module on Cayenne's (mines a turbo). First, interested if your happy with it. Where does it get installed (replaces factory module, is my understanding), does any one have pictures where and how to get to that area to swap one out. Is it as simple as swapping out or need dealer involvement with adjusting some sort of program. I am very confused on this one, as MSRP is 3k for this part from TechArt and you are swapping out the entire module, why would you need to now have a dealer program something??? Maybe silly but then wouldn't the dealer just be able to reprogram the stock one??? How does it work, I hear people mention once you park it drops down (how much?), and do you use the "sport, normal, comfort" switches and anything else???
  16. Thanks Loren, its actually for a friend of my :) I told him it would be in the 1k+- area, he needed the part number to make sure its the correct one. Some parts on a $100k+ cars are $$$ :)
  17. Can someone please look up the part number for a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S, passenger side intercooler (Turbo S please)
  18. As far as I know from speaking to my dealer no warranty Porsche or Aftermarket covers the coolant pipes, your on your own there. One person post exact steps with pictures, it looked very do able yourself... Coils are covered, plugs are not (should do both if coils are being changed, latest coils end with - 05 part number). Shafts I have seen talked about, not sure what is the history there. Oh BTW, I like the turbo in your autotrader post, but everyone will tell you, you have to go see it yourself, spend a lot of time checking and driving it, play with everything :) I would go see it and drive it in the day and come back another time at night and do it all over again.
  19. Loren can you look up the part numbers for the 06 CTTS rims, I believe they are called the technoSport rims and available painted by Porsche as an option. I see the front rim shape is beveled out and 9" wide (too clear the calipers I guess) and the rear rim shape is indented and 10" wide, they have a very unique look to them due to this. Would you also be able to see the actually offsets for these exact rims ( front and rear please).
  20. Thanks Loren, I cleared everything last night, waited a few minutes and reconnected the durametric, I was not able to take it out for a drive but started the car, no faults came back? I will be taking the car out tomorrow for a good while and will recheck over the weekend and post the results. Oh by the way the gas cap was not on right, thanks to the trusty gas attendance that last touched it :), thanks for the tip !!!
  21. +1 2006 seems to be a great year for them, the leases are coming in already, I picked up a CTTS off lease. I think you can possible get a 06 CTT for $35 if you can get someone you trust to pick one up in a P Auction, they usually run once a month. Make sure the mileage is under for warranty.
  22. http://www.knclub.ru/f/thread1928-7.html Do you have a translation? Did they have to break them apart or are they 2 piece?
  23. Hello to all, I recieved my durametric and resolved my printing issue via the application. So I could print these out and post to get some help. I found the following fault codes, this is after I pick it back up from the dealer, two of which I observed register a few days later, so I do not believe they could have known, in either case. I would like to have more knowledge for future reference, is there a place to look these up? as what the durametric seems to only give high level description. The car is a 2006 CTTS. 1) P0455 Evaporative Emission System Leak (Detected large leak) Present - this was from the Mottronic 7.1 (This came up a few days after my visit to the dealer, no idea) 2) 1299 Gateway - this was in both Heating and Air Conditioning as well as in Instrument Cluster (What is a gateway? Where is it?) 3) 1332 Passenger's door control module (no signal / Communication) - this was from Gateway as well as Instrument Cluster (Which passenger door, front, rear L/R? dont know what this module is either) 4) 459 PCM2 (no signal / Communication) - this was from Gateway as well as Instrument Cluster (No idea, i belive something to due with the radio?) 5) 978 Left dipped headlamp (Short to ground or Positive No signal / Communication) - this was from the Electrical System (This happen the first night after the visit to the dealer, I explained that the headlights were not aligned, they aligned them, look real good to me compared to before. Later that night I started the car, the headlights weres doing what I believe is a calibration up and down, 2 seconds later a loud beep and the dash stated "dipped beam". I turn the car off waited turned it back on it did not beep or alert but the alignment of the headlights is off again? and found it registered this fault via the durametric) Many thanks to all who can share answers, insight, troubleshooting, explanations to any of these codes/issues.
