  1. Somewhat frightening? You've got that right. My first encounter with this was taking my new Boxster with 20" wheels and PDK to the grocery store... When I went to back out of the parking place I had this happen and my first thought was "what did I just back over?". I don't recall this ever happening on my 2006 Boxster S with 19" wheels and manual transmission.
