  1. My 2006 Cayman does not seem to have a cold (only cool) A/C. I just recently purchased it as a used car, so have no experience with it in hot weather. However our 1999 911 has very cold A/C so I would expect he same from the Cayman. I was wondering if I could do a recharge of the system myself with a recharge kit from the local auto parts store? Is so, how would I access the engine to get to the A/C system? Thanks for any help.
  2. My 1999 996 Carrera 4 Cab no longer has a working trunk release. For the past few weeks, prior to it no longer working there was an extra effort required to close the hood. Now when the hood release lever is pulled up, (it pulls up very easily without any resistance), the hood does not open. How do I get the hood open? Is it an easy fix to repair or replace what I would think is a broken hood release cable? thanks
