  1. Thank you for your brief comments! In fact, I just ordered that thing, I think there might be quite some business opportunities for that solution, pricing for second-hand Cayennes have dramatically dropped here in Europe, therefore quite some people might want to replace their factory PCM 1/2/2.1 units - with Kenwood, maybe. You get a much newer navigation, Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones, and iPod integration, video capabilities and even (option-wise) TV. A true all-in-one solution which costs far less than a new Porsche system. Just in case you think, I am not a Nav-Tec guy. It just took me quite a while to find this very solution. So many other people "just" go for the mobridge or Dension solutions to install an iPod connectivity while keeping the outdated factory navigation and/or phone solution w/o Bluetooth. Glad to read that "it works", I will be able to test soon. BTW, the Cayenne mounting kit they offer is $300, I paid around $100 here in Europe. Googling for alternative offers pays quite some money there. All you need to also use existing microphones and the GPS antenna is an adapter and a mono 1/8 inch jack. The one which was supplied to me is a stereo (for the "IR remote control" connector? I assume this would be for Alpine devices, maybe). Cheers!
  2. Dear forum members, I have been reading across this forum about this and that as a "silent" reader, getting answers to quite a few interesting questions around my 2004 Cayenne S. Now, one of the most problematic issues most definitely must be the "upgrade" of a PCM-equipped audio system. Surfing the web, I found this product, seems to be brand new from Nav-TV: MOST-HUR Fiber optic head unit replacement module for 2004 to 2009 Porsche Cayenne vehicles with amplified sound systems Installing into the vehicle with just 4 connections and the included antenna adapter and M.O.S.T. fiber optic extension, the MOSTHUR supplies accessory power, illumination, reverse, VSS (vehicle speed pulse), vehicle brake, parking brake and user configured infrared steering wheel commands* to the aftermarket radio. *Currently supported head units are Alpine and Kenwood with a 1/8” infrared port at the rear of the radio. Now, the key questions to me, before ordering (according to Nav-TV, the item is in stock): - Anybody with experience with this product? - Does it support the Bose factory amp? Sorry for the maybe "newbie"-soundig questions... Would be glad to learn about your opinions! Greetings from Europe! Frankie
