  1. Thanks for the feedback. I drew the same conclusion. I was watching a used Fabspeed exhaust/cats on eBay that ultimately sold for $1600 and change. I decided to pay the difference and buy new. Now just need to decide to go with quiet or loud version. Decisions decisions!
  2. Thinking of buying used Fabspeed cats & mufflers for my 2001 TT. Any negatives or items I should be looking for before committing to purchase? Would appreciate any advice including recommendations for alternative set-ups. Thanks, Charles.
  3. Don't worry - I'm not that cheap! I'm just doing the headlights ($45). I just thought the info might be useful for others considering it. Regards - Charles.
  4. I'm looking at doing it myself (never succeed if you never try!). Anyway, found this site: www.mishield.com Which will sell the pre-cut 3M film based on year / make / model. They list pretty good instructions as well as a difficulty rating for each car. The bumper is not recommended as a DIY. Cost for 01 996TT is about $450 + shipping Charles.
  5. I need the same instructions for a 2001 996TT. Would someone be kind enough to send them to me? Help! Charles
  6. OK, I'm a newbie to Porsche so excuse my ignorance (just bought a 01 TT). I've been researching exhausts and I noticed alot of threads discuss the pros and cons of PSE (Porsch Sport Exhaust ?!!). How does this exhaust system compare to the stock 996TT? Is there alot of HP to gain in upgrading the cats and exhaust on a 2001 Turbo? Thanks, Charles.
