I would but I dont trust him anymore. He was a nightmare to deal with. :angry: Seeing these errors do you think there is multiple problems??? I was told that a single problem can cause these error messages? -
:huh: Just had a leaking gearbox fixed and engine loom repaired and now I get these error messages! I swear the car is costing me an arm and a leg. Has anyone experienced any of these codes and found the cause: P1249 Boost Pressure Control P2111 Throttle Actuator Control System stuck open P1828 Pressure Control Valve P1255 Boost Pressure Curve, Upper value exceeded P2101 Throttle actuator control motor circuit range/performance 00801 High Press. Switch coupling. I have already done a search and the brilliant Loren came up with P1255 Boost Pressure Characteristic, Upper Value Exceeded - Above Limit Possible fault cause - Leakage at pressure hoses from frequency valve to the bypass flaps - Frequency valve faulty - Vacuum modulators for bypass flaps leaking - Bypass flaps incorrectly adjusted But what about the others? I have been told a single fault can create multiple error messages. Strange thing is that when I drive no PCM ABS lights come on. The light only comes on at 90 mph with my foot down. When I stop the car turn off ignition and restart the car the lights go out and everything is fine. Foot down upto 70-90+ mph not a problem. Any advice greatfully appreciated. Everyone speaks so highly of a 996 turbo but this one is proving to be a bit of a ball ache :huh: Cheers :renntech:

Part of the reason is cost but also finding 2 door trims that match. I know the safety issues are important but I think I am OK with that. The door panels are off a GT3 and are black with pockets no speaker.

My 996 has a blown door airbag. I want to change it to non airbag and have bought 2 door panels that are identical but have no airbag. The Porsche specialist who is fixing my car tells me that the Airbag system check will bring it up as a fault and I might have the Airbag fault light come on. Also the fault will register in the ECU. Is there any way to get around this problem. I know that there is an airbag activator switch that sits behind the door airbag. Could this not be connected up and somehow permanently stuck on OK position so no errors get reported. Or is there another way? Any help appreciated....
