Hi, does anyone have a DIY, hopefully with some pictures, on the proper placement of the brake pads anti vibration shims? I cannot find any information for the 2009’s online. I have the brake system where the calipers have to be unbolted, not the rod and cotter pin system. Any information would be app.
Has anyone ever had an issue where the tiptronic whines when its put into reverse? It does not show fault code when I scan the computer, nor does it drive strange. I don't know if servicing the tip will help. I checked with my local dealer and they have never heard of such an issue. the car has 45,000 miles. Any help I would appreciate.

Hi Loren, I was just reading this and I have a question, is the wire I need to tape off in the radio harness or is it on the side of the radio cage, or do you know the color of the wire by any chance?

That is a good DIY, the question I have is the lever replaced with a new one or was it repainted? If it was repainted, was the picture of the hood just covered and the rest repainted? Mine are worn almost the same way and I would like to do the same. Thanks.
almeida944s2 posted a topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)Hello, I have a question for anyone who knows. I have a 99 C2 cabrio that did not come with a owners manual, and I have tried searching but can not find the answer to my question. Normally when I turn the key to start the car, the countdown starts from 5 seconds to zero, but sometimes when I am out and have to make a stop somewhere, I get back into the car , turn the key, and it starts from anywhere from 7 minutes to 15 minutes. Am I suppost to wait no matter how long it takes or is it ok if I wait a little while, just not the several minutes? Like I said I tried to search this here but can't find any answers as to how I should handle it. Thanks
