  1. Hi everyone!,

    i have bought a 997 C2 S, -05

Just realised that crusie Control isnt working (not even turns on the green indicator light when pushed to Active it..,but lamp lights up when starting the car, so its working in the cluster) Seems like the Cruise stick isnt working..

and the on board computer doesnt work either.. doesnt ract to the level stick..

I have checked the fuses at driver feet wall,, but they seem good.. brake light is working...

Is there any more fuses or relays that could be involved?

All constructive speculations is welcome :)

    //thanks

  2. The triggering unit is placed in the lower dashboard, triggering unit also is the one who saves all codes.

The dealer who i used aint that experienced with Porsches, but they do got the testing equipment.

I just found out that if the fault code is named 100 or above then is it a faulty triggering unit (internal fault), gonna call the dealer and see if they have saved the fault codes somewhere... most likely they have not! and a trip to them is about a 2 hours drive :cursing:

i have bought a used triggering unit, thinking of testing it in the car..

it shares the same number as my car but come from another vehicle.

My car is a Boxster S -00, and the donators is a 2,7 -99 but has 4 airbags aswell.

if i buy a new trigg unit they have to bound it to the car choosing the amount of airbags, and then locking it. But the one i bought is already locked amnd with the same amount of airbags like i said.

What do you think is it a stupid and dangerous move to make? i think it should work! Dont wanna ask my dealer, i dont thrust their knowledge

    Thanks

  3. Cant get my new keys to work on my car (the remote function)

i have no problem with the immobilizer.

I have a boxster S -00 US spec but Euro spec keys..

Has the US boxster S alarm as standard? if so wich version?

My Euro remote say 433MHZ on the hand held transmitter, You guys that have a boxster S what does your remote say?

    Regards/ Simon (Sweden)

  4. I have just installed a set of litronics

As the other says, it has no self leveling

But you mean when you highbeam, both sides dont move to the same hight?

    Mine does!

you need maybe to open it and have a look (mine was unplugged on both sides of the lamp, after pulling it back on both sides it worked)

    And the lights are syncronised
